Just some of the nice game results from exhibition visitors who played the SecondSquat Game!
Finding their way through the spatial game SecondSquat, the players left movement tracks, which at the same time shaped a new architecture. This generative result architecture was then automatically pasted into SecondSquat Utopia and placed onto a free “land piece”.

Overview Exhibition
SecondSquat is an interactive installation that reflects, using the example of “Second Life”, spatial planning and the possibilities of movement within a three-dimensional Internet.
In this 3D-online-world, flying – the human dream – belongs to an essential possibility of an experience-driven locomotion. Yet, this is hardly considered at the planning, design and usage of this virtual world. “Second Life” is built up more densely, which leads to restricted mobility and exacerbates the discovering of individual sections.
Drawing from these experiences SecondSquat projects a new spatial Utopia. SecondSquat’s model of this Utopia is designed to remove the usual barriers that prevent free flight within such online worlds. The installation offers a playful way of experiencing virtual space and for actively participating within this utopia.

Here are some impressions from the “Q202 Atelierrundgang”. An open house event in Vienna. Many studios open their doors for 3 days for everyone who is interested. It was wonderful to meet all the curious people, have some nice talk and laughing.
